LEADERSHIP & GOVERNANCE
Leadership beyond the organisation.
Alongside my professional work, I have taken leadership and governance roles within the University of California alumni community, working across institutions, geographies and stakeholder groups.

“Stronger connections create greater impact.”
CURRENT AND PAST ROLES
Current and past roles

Vice President of the UK Alumni Board
University of California
I serve as Vice President of the Board, supporting the UK alumni community across all UC campuses. The role involves working with fellow board members to set priorities, strengthen governance, and represent the alumni community externally. We aim to foster engagement, create meaningful programming and support UC's mission in the UK and Europe.

Former Chapter President
Berkeley Haas Alumni Network
I led the Berkeley Haas Alumni Network, helping to build a vibrant and inclusive community in Denver and in London. The role involved setting direction, organising events and discussions, and connecting alumni with each other and with UC faculty. We focused on creating opportunities for learning, collaboration and real-world impact.
MY APPROACH TO GOVERNANCE
Three principles that guide my contribution.
These principles inform how I approach governance and are also central to my professional work.
Clarity of purpose
Boards should be clear about the outcomes they are responsible for enabling.
Constructive challenge
Good governance requires independent judgement, evidence and the willingness to challenge assumptions.
Execution matters
Strategy and oversight cannot be separated from understanding whether an organisation has the capability to execute its commitments.
Let's connect
I'm always open to conversations about governance, leadership and how to maximise the impact of alumni networks.
